A Boy and His Dog

Cult sci-fi comedy based on the novella by Harlan Ellison.

Vic (Don Johnson) and his telepathic dog, Blood, scavenge the ruins of a post-apocalyptic United States.

With no moral compass to guide him, Vic is mostly interested in fulfilling his base urges, craving human intimacy and food above all else.

The two friends carry on eking out a living until they are abruptly split apart by Vic's decision to follow his urges and journey to the underground city known as Topeka.

When all is not as it seems, however, Vic must finally come to terms with what his true priorities in life actually are.
