Grim, determined police officer Lou Torrey (Bronson) loses his place in the New York Police Department when he is held responsible for the death of a young suspect fleeing the scene of a crime.

Before long however, his skills are sought after by the Los Angeles Police Department and he quickly finds himself back in the thick of it.

Hot on the trail of a vengeful mob boss, Torrey must stop the gangsters before their decades old feud erupts into all-out war.
