Invincible

Werner Herzog writes and directs this drama starring Tim Roth, Jouko Ahola and Anna Gourari.

In 1932, young Jewish blacksmith Zishe Breitbart (Ahola) travels to Berlin, where he has accepted an appointment to appear as a strongman at Hanussen's Palace of the Occult.

His new boss soon asks him to perform dressed as the Aryan hero Siegfried in order to please the Nazi clientele, and despite his reservations, Zishe agrees; but when his brother sees him in costume, he rejects the charade, and declares on stage that he is Jewish, which results in a riot at the club.

Meanwhile, he gets to know the club's owner Erik-Jan Hanussen (Roth), a clairvoyant and hypnotist who has secrets of his own.
