Charged with retrieving a stash of hidden gold meant to finance the Mexican Revolution, Cuchillo Sanchez (Milian) will have to evade multiple interested parties also seeking the gold, including warring revolutionary factions, foreign mercenaries and an American bounty hunter, if he is to succeed in delivering it to the revolutionary leader Santillana (John Ireland).
