Hiroshima Mon Amour - The Criterion Collection

A French actress and a Japanese architect have an affair while the actress is making a movie in Hiroshima.

Their pasts are slowly re-traced, revealing that his life was destroyed by the atomic bomb which was dropped on the city, and that she was imprisoned as a wartime collaborator.
