Artisanal Fishing, Sustainable Development and Co-management of Resources : Analysis of a Successful Project in West Africa.

This document reports on the achievements of a project for the co-management of fisheries resources carried out by IUCN in Guinea-Bissau since 1991 (Rio Grande de Buba region).

It provides a summary analysis of the approach taken by the project and its achievements, offering a set of guidelines and lessons learned which will enable replication of the project at other sites.
