Post-socialist world orders: Russia, China and the UN system.

Post-Socialist World Orders presents a study of Soviet/Russian Federation and Chinese policies in selected UN institutions from the early 1980s to the early 1990s.

The analysis is set in the context of research in international political economy: Part I focuses on Russia and comprises chapters on foreign policy, relations with international financial institutions, technical agencies, and approaches to peace and security issues.

Part II deals with China's foreign policy and economic modernization, and examines policies in the same set of institutions.
