British Pharmacopoeia (Rev ed)

In December 2001 the "British Pharmacopoeia 2001" will supersede the "BP" of the previous year as the source of legally-binding UK standards.

The new "BP" contains over 2980 monographs, including 122 new monographs - 44 national monographs and 78 from the "European Pharmacopoeia", together with the "British Pharmacopoeia (Veterinary)". The key features of the "BP" for 2001 are: the provision of definitive UK standards for medicinal products; all of the current "European Pharmacopoeia" monographs are clearly distinguished and cross-referenced; a three-volume printed edition - two volumes of the "BP 2001" and single volume of the "BP (Veterinary) 2001"; a fully searchable CD-ROM (with manual); access to a regularly up-dated website, providing information on current standards and other news; free access to the 2000 and 2001 edition of the "BP" and to British Approved names on-line.
