Early Years practitioners are still buying the original "Themes for Early Years" which has been a best-selling series for Scholastic from its launch in 1995 to date.

Research has told us that while the series is still popular by updating it to support the early years curriculum, providing assessment, more emphasis on play areas and adding a CD-Rom with a bank of resources to support the learning we can revive and even extend the popularity of this series.

Books will comprise 96 pages based on the early years curriculum with new sections for play areas, assessment and differentiation.

CD-Roms will comprise specially commissioned songs and rhymes, full-colour photographs, flim clips and activities for children to do.
