Vera Grace Orridge (nee King) known to one and all as Vee, lived through the momentous events of World War II, lost a great love and found another, was mother to Chris and Geoff and step-mother to Peter, co-founded a successful engineering business, and emigrated to Canada in her late 60's.

She died in 2011 at the age of 88. This memoir, based on her journal, is a tribute to a long life, well-lived.
