Almost Nothing; Antonio and Sara discuss an incident: Antonio has shot a boy who approached their car with a knife.

They interview a woman who claims to be the boy's mother.

They offer her money. They meet Cesar, who subtly suggests they may want the mother out of the way.

They do not demur...At the Table; Four scenes set around a table. 1. A creepy older man is persuading a boy of the virtues of a boys' camp. 2. The boy's father gives him his old penknife. 3. Twenty years later, two men are discussing a case of homosexual rape at a boys' camp. 4. The creepy old man, now out of jail, sits with one of the two men half justifying his actions.

Both plays are avowedly influenced by Pinter, but both have their own uncanny way of building atmosphere by what is NOT said.

Both plays hint at the murky morality that lies beneath the surface of normal life.

The Royal Court Theatre will present the English-language premiere of this double-bill in a production directed by Roxana Silbert, fresh from her success with The People Next Door.
