Butterflies through binoculars: The east

This field guide, covering the butterflies of the eastern United States to a western boundary running from the eastern Dakotas to east Texas, identifies butterflies in their habitat, and includes information on unique field marks and flight patterns, ranges, seasonal abundance and food plants.

It is illustrated with 72 colour plates with photographs of all the butterflies native to the eastern United States.

The guide should allow butterfly watchers to identify butterflies in the field without the need to collect them.
