Reunions : True Stories of Adoptees Meeting with Their Natural Parents

This work brings together the experiences of 15 people who have two things in common: first, they have shared the experience of being adopted, and second, they have all chosen the path to meeting one or both of their birth parents.

Their experiences are specific and highly individual, as are their personal histories and the circumstances surrounding their adopted families.

The book covers a wide range of people that have decided to face up to their past and who have risked a great deal in tracing their natural parents.

The accounts show that the actual reunion meeting itself is not the end of the process, but only the beginning.
