The recent discovery of many old but good quality glass slides of Haddon Hall enables us to see how the house appeared in Edwardian times.

With nearly 50 images and F. H. Cheetham's guide to the house, dated 1904, this new book brings together a good description (still relevant) and evocative images of how the house appeared nearly 100 years ago.

The images portray rooms and exterior views of one of the country's finest fortified manor houses.
