Having graduated from Cornell University, Richard Meier established his own architectural firm in New York City in 1963, around a group known as the "Five Architects" of New York.

This book includes 70 works and projects, chronologically ordered, from his first private houses around New York, to the most recent cultural centres, museums, corporate buildings and city planning for different cities in Europe, Asia and USA.

This book, abundantly illustrated and documented, offers a chronological survey, from the first houses in the Hamptons to the most recent buildings including the Getty Center in Los Angeles and the MACBA in Barcelona.

In 1984, Richard Meier was awarded the Pritzker Prize, the most coveted architectural award.
