The present study was a global attempt to investigate and identify the early markers of learning disability in young children. The early markers thus enhance the professionals and parents to detect the early symptoms of learning problems and the diagnosis of learning disability. This present study investigated the cognitive ability and academic achievement, in a core group of 100 students referred for academic problems. The relationships of early markers of learning disability were predicted comparing two groups (6-11 year olds): (LD group of 50 children) and 50 were identified as (Non LD group). It is an ex-post facto control group design research study with an incidental sample from four public schools. The Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) was applied to compare the two groups on different variables. The obtained data were tabulated and analyzed to find out the Mean, SDs, for all the dimensions of early markers of learning disability. Discriminant Analysis was used to predict the early markers for learning disability
