It contains music to play, including 30 Bach/Ricci teaching pieces as well as pieces by J.

S. Bach, the Couperins and Georg Boehm. Two CDs are included with the book, the first CD "Companion Compact Disc" includes all the examples from the book, performed by Nancy Metzger, the author.

The 2nd CD "Suites & Treats" includes music of Bach and Froberger mentioned in the book, along with other Baroque works.
