This title features four fantastic episodes of the classic radio comedy, including the first ever episode. "The Missing Jeep" (29 March 1959), "Operation Fag End" (5 April 1954), "Number One's Chair" (12 April 1954) and "The Fairground Lights" (19 April 1954). "The Navy Lark", one of radio's longest running laughter-makers, kept the nation on the crest of a wave from 1959 to 1977.

All at sea in the Senior Service were conniving Chief Petty Officer Jon Pertwee, silly-ass Sub-Lieutenant Leslie Phillips, and the constantly bemused Dennis Price as 'Number One', while Tenniel Evans made mischief as Leading Seaman Goldstein.
