Glass Buildings : Material, Structure and Detail

Concerned with the utilization of large-scale glass facades in architectural design, this work discusses and illustrates around 25 international projects including Zumthor's Kunthaus Bregenz, Vinoly's Tokyo International Forum and Samyn's Forestry Center at Marche-en-Famenne.

The choice of buildings featured presents the full palette of contemporary glass technology.

It represents, among other things, a collection of ideas for the designer, and a comprehensive, current presentation of the possibilities of building with glass.
