This publication accompanies an exhibition which aims at reviewing and taking stock of the current architectural scene in Switzerland, analysing it from three contrasting perspectives.

The first part examines 18 individual buildings which are considered representative of the high quality of current Swiss architecture.

Subsequently, six chapters focus on specific features which are characteristic of this architecture.

Concluding the volume are five essays each providing illuminating analyses and setting the present-day situation in a historical context.
