Rampath 1.1

RAMpath 1.1 is a computer software package that allows users to organize, display, analyze and save linear structural equation models. It allows the user to automatically display a high quality path diagram on the computer screen or a PostScript printer. The algebraic basis of these models comes from well-known work in simultaneous equation systems. During the last decade these models have become very popular in fields that utilize data analysis such as psychometrics, econometrics, and market research.

The program employs new automatic routines to calculate and display the tracing rules of path analysis. These calculations can be useful in analyzing model expectations and teaching about path analysis.

RAMpath's flexible, script-based language for defining path models simplifies the process of building and changing path models for novices and experts alike. The software supports LISREL, LISREL-7.20, and SAS/CALIS.

Available only for IBM-PC, XT, AT or 100% compatibles, the RAMpath package consists of one 5.25" disk and documentation and requires:

* 640K RAM

* MS-DOS 2.1 or higher

* VGA, EGA, MCGA, or CGA graphics (EGA or VGA recommended)
