The Throne of Vikramaditya is a popular collection of thirty-two tales of adventure, fantasy and mystery which recount the incredible, often magical, experiences King Vikramaditya of Ujjain, whose courage and sense of justice were legendary.

The six tales in this collection follow Vikramaditya's exploits as he encounters generous kings, evil hermits, beautiful princesses, enchanted pillars, gods, goddesses and demons.
