Anxiety is presented as an important health problem, and this can be defined as an anticipatory response to future harm or misfortune, accompanied by a feeling of unpleasant dysphoria, somatic symptoms of tension or avoidance behaviors (Ministerio de Sanidad y Consumo, 2008).

These responses are present in many university students, due to the risk presented by anxiety and its various demands in relation to the psychological, social, physiological and academic part, in this research the relationship between anxiety and coping styles before the exams of psychology students will be determined, where anxiety levels will be analyzed, coping strategies will be described and the relationships between anxiety and coping strategies in students will be established.

The instruments used were the COPING-Modified Coping Strategies Scale and the AMAS-C Scale, which will be applied to 132 students selected by means of a cluster sampling from II to X semesters.
