The Sound of Storytime

Here's a musical new way to make beloved children's books even more magical.

This new resource will help librarians and classroom teachers alike use simple instruments such as bells, rhythm sticks, sand blocks, shakers, and tambourines to add a musical element to storytime.

For each of the 48 ready-to-use programs, you'll find: a musical storytime; flannel-board activity; movement chant; make-and-take craft; list of suggested books to share; and, complete directions including supply lists, prop assembly, program scripts, and song lyrics.
