Sean Kelly is a retired conservation officer who can usually be found relaxing at his remote cabin in the Blue Mountains.

Sean spends his days with his companion Anghus, a loyal wolfhound, as he wanders the canyons and ridges of the mountains he once patrolled.

Sean's friend, Brad Nelson, is an Oregon conservation officer assigned to patrol the mountains and lakes of the Blue Mountains in the wild Northeast portion of the state.

During the course of performing his duties Brad would encounter many violators who would intentionally break the fish and wildlife regulations of the state.

The enforcement of these laws is dangerous enough with little or no support nearby.

Brad had no way of knowing his harrowing struggle for survival would be a result of an encounter with one of the species he was sworn to protect.

Sean's quiet lifestyle is turned on its head when he becomes embroiled in his friend Brad's life and death struggle in one of the wildest, untamed regions of Oregon.

Tragically not everyone will survive this horrible encounter.
