Decision Support Systems in Mathematica

This text is designed to help practitioners in the field of management science and operations research to create quantitative management tools called decision support systems (DSS) using "Mathematica".

Whenever the complexity of a decision problem exceeds the capabilities of a spreadsheet, "Mathematica" can be used to build the DSS.

This book uses "Mathematica" as a problem-solving toolkit and demonstrates how to build DSSs using specific decision problems. The companion diskette contains source code for many of the examples in the book.

The diskette is compatible with NEXTSTEP, DOS, Windows and most UNIX computer systems. "Mathematica" 2.0 or higher is recommended to fully utilize disk contents.
