In her book, the title 'Honeymoon' becomes the metaphor for paradise.

The 'honey' emphasises the warmth of His heart. The 'moon', on the other hand, strikes a metaphorical allusion to God's character as an everlasting contemplator in His creation; that part of His being which is ever hidden from His creatures and resides mostly in Him alone.

The title of the book is thus the image of the soul's eternal quest in the creation of her mighty Bridegroom.

She beseeches the light in Him wherefrom the crumbles of His deep love fall upon her path.

She finds her Mighty Groom in eternal fecundity, a being whose growth never ceases but is ever in perpetuity.

Jesus, the old, divine, most providential clock, ever freshening her path and her clock which only started to tick in her beating heart.

She is His bride The book's inspiration comes mostly from the Book of Revelation, the Gospels and St.

Theresa of Avila which had a deep impact upon the author, as well as the Gospels.
