A disciple of Avatar Meher Baba, Josephine expresses, freely and movingly, the tremendous experience of meeting such a Master, and of discerning, through his teachings, the truth that God may be known to the individual without need of intercession. 

In lines rich in spiritual beauty, the poet expresses the relationship of disciple to Spiritual Master, and the fullness of joy that comes of the soul's awakening to the Onenes of all things.
