"It Was" is a collection of beautifully brutal poems.

They are the perfect triggers to past traumas, relationships, fears, and so much more. Writing has given me the unrestricted voice that I silenced and edited to fit into approving standards.

I wrote this book because I've discovered the beauty in what was and how accepting the triggering truths will free me to be who I am destined to become.
