Just Thought You Should Know follows the story of a young child learning the harsh realities that life is.

Struggling with identity and the consequential mental struggles that manifested as a young child and persists, being haunted well into adulthood - living in this world, where it has become the norm to compartmentalize everyone.

This collection of poetry, free verse poems, and stories - despite the fear of vulnerability - are overwhelmed with raw emotions and experiences, that give record to what it was like growing up in that environment and its effects on shaping how we view ourselves, others, and the world or lack thereof.

Though it has always felt like an endless journey down the same grey path all by myself, it's a never-ending journey of self-identity and self-worth.

Ultimately, this was written for you. You might be like me and in this case, we are no longer alone but for everyone else, thank you for listening and understanding.
