About Troubled Kids Need Jesus Too

"I think Jesus would be proud," stated a Famous Musician. He made this statement in an interview with a local newspaper writer in Florida back in 2004. How would Jesus feel about the explicit language in one of his songs? The musician went on to give a very thought-provoking answer "...Jesus loves us. He doesn't hate anything about us no matter what we do." To know that a musician seeks to understand the depth of Jesus' love is an incredible revelation, and to be concerned that Jesus considers us regardless of what we do is also great. However, to know that Jesus' love is what he gives to us is one thing but understanding that we also must give back to Him is something else. Young people understand that Jesus loves them regardless of where they are from or what they do; they know this for the most part. But one thing that is not so clear is what am I supposed to do for Him, how am I supposed to give back to Him, especially when I am living in a world that may not honor that, a world that may not show someone like me how to exist: genuinely exists, the way Jesus would like for me to live?
