For nearly a decade, Roger Chapman has owned and operated one of Charleston's finest establishments: a bakery known simply as the Blue Ribbon. From its ovens, he has served all manner of carefully-crafted, culinary delights to the city's ever-changing assortment of residents, locals, and tourists. The purveyor of the shop himself, though, is as enigmatic as he is talented. When a sudden surge in business occurs, some of Roger's most strongly-held beliefs are brought to the forefront.
