The Hurler

When family man and local hurler Jim Rourke goes missing from Kilkenny, a troubled call placed by his wife sends Seargeant Britney Kent delving into a world that does not welcome her investigation. From all appearances, this does not seem like a normal disappearance. When bodies start piling up indirectly connected to missing man Jim Rourke, Britney is threatened and told to back off from her investigation by her superior chain of command in the Gardai. Deep suspicion of corruption and criminal connections come to light, and Britney finds herself working on her most challenging case ever; on the trail of a sadistic killer known as 'The Courier', based on the body parts he removes from his victims and delivers elsewhere as a stark warning.

The deeper she gets in her investigation, the more she questions who she can trust. The more she uncovers the criminal underworld and corruption at the highest levels, the real killer is revealed. All is not what it seems, and for the grand finale, the killer plans one more event as his parting and lasting legacy.
